I love making mosaics using random watercolor squares. Here are a couple from my Saturday art making. #worldwatercolormonth

Happy Sunday!

Size: 5″ x 6.5″ watercolor and watercolor pencils
mosaic squares are 1″ x 1″

Size:  6″ x 9″ watercolor,  mosaic squares 1″ x 1″.

The sky was patted dry with a paper towel and an added bonus the paper texture was left in the paint.

Benjamin was my weekend companion while his parents were away. We visited earlier today, but had to hurry off before commenting. Mosaic is a new word to him. I explained it to him as we looked at your art. He decided that this is really “awesome” and said that the cat’s name is “Mose-E cat”! That is just how he pronounces the name, a loud long E! The idea of drying the paint with a paper towel is something that he wants to try. We have just graduated from crayons to paint this past week and he loves the messiness! Benjamin said that the second picture is “a rainbow and sun mixed together.” Not everyone can inspire a toddler artist! Thank-you x 2!!
