Good Morning – Here are two very different styles of art making.

#1… a B&W sketch of the home my grandmother grew up in. It was located in Lincoln Heights (Los Angeles). I love the large homes built during early 20th century.

#2…an a imagination doodle, drawn freehand and color added in Photoshop.

Such an inviting house, and so beautifully rendered. Your lines are always so full of life. I remember well my grandmother’s front porch, and the glider where we would sit and watch the world go by.
And I love your peeking eyes…and of course the colors! (K)

I have had an interest in houses and home architecture all my life and I believe that if I were doing things over I would love to be an architect. I like buildings of all kinds, that’s why. Anyway, I have quite a few plan books for houses from the era 1900-1940 or so, and I love to review the floor plans and the facade renderings. Your drawing is absolutely perfect and would have sold a lot of versions of this house if it were in one of those plan books. I continue to be amazed and delighted by your work, but this one especially speaks to me.
