Jill Kuhn (click her name to jump to her blog) and I are collaborating again, this time with 4″ x 6″ postcards. We sent each other 6 cards that had the beginning of designs and then we finished the cards and mailed them back to each other. Check out the fun below!
Thank you so much Jill, your artwork is always so creative and full of imagination. We had such good time and it is always such a surprise to see how we finish designing the cards.
These are the cards Jill sent to me with my additions

Shiny Things is the World Watercolor Month prompt for July 7. Giving shiny things some thought, It occurred to me that cats are intrigued with shiny objects. So I enjoyed my morning warm up painting a playful cat.

Several days ago, Jet Eliot from jeteliot.wordpress.com posted a very interesting essay about lizards with beautiful photography taken by Athena Alexander. I was inspired to draw/paint a lizard. The Monitor Lizard seemed like a good choice for the last day in June.
Tomorrow, July 1, starts World Watercolor Month. Join in for the fun!
I was out on a walk and I found this beautiful red leaf. It escaped the autumn leaf raking.
I’m still in Maui mode :-)…I needed to make a birthday card so the Hibiscus became the subject matter. They were everywhere on Maui and in all colors.
