After painting yesterday’s big cat, I was inspired to paint a larger version adding more texture and patterns and painting on a grid. Have a beautiful Sunday. #worldwatecolormonth

Thanks Rachel, I was using the grid to reproduce the cat from a picture and decided to leave it.

The grid adds a great dimension…like the lion unfolded itself. (K)

Yesterday, Benjamin looked at both of the Big Cat paintings and had me going back&forth between them. He told me to wait until “tomorrow” because he needed to “think a little more”. Today he said : “It’s the tomorrow from yesterday and I need to look again. The Toddler Art Critic says : The first one looks big and scary, his name is Roary. This one has lots of colors, he is cute and friendly and his name is Leo the Lion. I like lions, but dinosaurs are still bestest! Benjamin gives with one hand and takes with the other. Thank-you x 2!!
